One of Maribor’s more prominent sights includes a vineyard and a small chapel above the city centre, dominating above the main access road to the city’s centre and following us across the river Drava. Since it was the client’s wish to create a connected story with the city and the wider region, the logo includes Maribor’s main elements. The elements of the city and the elements connected to the wine story.
This logo establishes a strong emotional connotation, as inhabitants of Maribor identify with the image of the city and quickly recognize it. On the other hand, we inform tourists of a connected storyline. As the story of the wine city starts at Lent with “Hiša Stare Trte” and continues all the way to “Piramida” hill.
